Mechanical design
and manufacturing.
Experience in machining, inspection, and scientific instrumentation.
Hello, I’m Marlon.
My work and training
I’ve worked on aerospace components, prototype orders, production runs, and mechanical systems for scientific research. My responsibilities include machining, mechanical design, and quality inspection.
I began with Manufacturing Technology training at Howell Cheney Vocational High School and worked as a machinist at GE Aviation. At Production Robotics, I programmed CNC mills and lathes, inspected parts using a Wenzel CMM, and trained others in machine setup and programming.
My education includes Chabot College’s engineering transfer program and mechanical engineering at San José State University. As an LCLS Engineering Intern at SLAC, I design and draft parts and assemblies for a sample delivery instrument and collaborate with scientists and machinists.
